Task 1

Children's Illustrators - Initial Research

1. Identify 4 different children's book illustrators online

- Fiona Sansom

Jack and the Beanstalk

- Alessandra Psacharopulo

- Eric Carle

- Corey R. Tabor

I chose to look at Alessandra Psacharopulo work as I find her work really interesting and creative. She's a freelance illustrator. Psacharopulo lives and works in Milan at Studio Armad'illo. She works especially for children's book publishing.

Most of her illustrations are made with acrylic, pencil and digital. She tents to use soft warm colours. Most of her designs shows kids, adults and animals. The images shows story's of different characters. Her work is creative and fascinating.

Mondovi is a project for children's book. The story tells about the friendship between Mondovi, the big orge, and Ettore, the little children. Published 7th June, 2013. In my opinion this book is aimed for 5 to 8 years old.
